About Leah

Leah Hunter is a native of Atlanta, GA and made her way to Mississippi to study Marrigae and Family Therapy at Reformed Theological Seminary. After graduation, Leah worked in higher education and community mental health while focusing on whole person wellness, crisis response, family counseling, and women's issues.

Leah's passion is women's wellness and through her own journey with chronic illness, infertility, motherhood, and trauma, she has seen just how deeply women are negatively impacted by carrying this trauma alone.

Leah's work with her clients is simple- return them to self. She believes self trust is the single most important aspect of holistic wellness and works with clients to heal in a way that returns them to who they were created to be- powerful, capable, resiliant women.

Leah is a Certified Professional Life Coach and Certified Crisis Worker. She has her master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and has additional qualifications and certifications in trauma, crisis response, suicide prevention and marriage and family.

Leah and her husband, Roe Hunter LPC, love to work together to bring couples and families through their own trauma journeys. They see couples individually, together, and are also available for intensive marriage workshops.
